PRLog (Press Release)– May 23, 2011– Chazy, NY – Riley Ford is bringing Ford Motor Company's innovative Drive One 4 UR School program to the community of Chazy in an effort to raise up to $6,000 for Chazy Central Rural School (CCRS). For every person who test-drives a Ford vehicle at CCRS on Sunday, June 5th, Riley Ford and Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the high school's extracurricular activities clubs.
"We know how important extracurricular activities are to our high school students, and as part of this community, we want to help," said Joy VanLeuvan, General Manager of Riley Ford. "This is why we're excited to raise money for Chazy Central Rural School, meanwhile introducing parents, teenagers and other drivers to our high-quality lineup and innovative safety technologies." The event, which will be held Sunday, June 5th from 9am to 4pm at Chazy Central Rural School, 609 Miner Farm Road, will feature a selection of 2011 Ford vehicles to choose from, including the new Focus, Explorer and F150 to name a few. Proceeds from the event will help fund student activities such as the Drama Club, Model United Nations and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD).
Riley Ford in Chazy recently received national recognition, winning the prestigious President's Award which honors dealerships that have excelled in automotive retailing in 2010, by providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Since the start of Ford's Drive One 4 UR School program in 2007, more than 275,000 test-drives at more than 1,500 events have generated over $5 million in donations for high schools nationwide. Locally, this will be the first time Riley Ford has participated in Ford's Drive One 4 UR School program.
